Grand Opening: Sarasota Tile Outlets of America Store!

Tile Outlets of America celebrated the Grand Opening of its new Sarasota, Florida location on January 16, 2014. After months of planning, receiving and organizing inventory, creating display boards, building kitchen, bathroom and outdoor spaces for the Inspiration area, and adding and training staff, the 28,000 square foot store opened its doors on January 9th. That gave us a chance to test everything out and get ready for the January 16 Grand Opening!
Grand Opening Day for Sarasota Tile Outlets of America
Our grand opening day was a huge success! We had plenty of traffic and excited customers telling us how happy they were that we had opened in the local Sarasota area. We liked hearing that. According to our market research, Sarasota didn't seem to have retailers offering the broad selection of in-stock tile and stone at the great prices we pride ourselves on.

The new Tile Outlets of America store is located at 4088 Cattlemen Road in the Centergate Plaza shopping center. We are between Sports Authority and Beall's Outlet, and conveniently close to a Panera Bread - in case you'd like to browse our store with a Latte in hand. You'll find plenty of parking, too, and convenient hours of operation.

Mon - Fri 7:00AM-8:00PM
Saturday 9:00AM-6:00PM
Sunday 11:00AM-5:00PM
Pictured above on the right is Warren Lampert, Executive Vice President and CFO. He and Don Aronin (back to the camera in the same photo), President and CEO, attended the Grand Opening events to personally welcome first time shoppers and visitors, members of the community and the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce which presented us with a certificate of membership in the Chamber of Commerce and welcomed us to Sarasota with a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting on January 16th (see photo above and also the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce's photo gallery of 2014 Ribbon Cuttings.)
Don and Warren are based in our Store Support Center in Atlanta, GA. They regularly visit the stores to interact with and obtain feedback from customers in order to better determine which products are best able to transform dreams into reality.
Meet the Sarasota Store Managers!
The store managers and assistant managers from Sarasota and Tampa were on hand for the Grand Opening.
Chris Martin (in the above photo on the left) joined Tile Outlets of America in 2003; prior to being appointed as General Manager for Sarasota, he previously was an Assistant Store Manager in both Fort Myers and Tampa, as well as General Manager in Tampa.
Yoanni Soria has been with Tile Outlets since 2006, most recently in the Tampa store where he was the top performing sales associate.
Bill Fishburn is new to the TOA family and comes from Pennsylvania with 30 years experience in the flooring industry.
Mark Staley recently joined TOA and brings with him 17 years of managerial experience with one of the big box home centers.
