Porcelain Tile Made In The USA: Elite and Vesuvio

Posted by Kate Spencer on Nov 5th 2015

It's not often that we get to share with you porcelain tile made in the USA. Most of the tile and stone products we sell at Tile Outlets of America come from areas around the world where stone quarries are located and where there's a strong tradition of quality tile manufacturing.

Here are two porcelain tile styles - Elite and Vesuvio - that we think you'll love. They embody the best of both worlds: Italian design and American manufacturing.

Made In The USA: Vesuvio Blanco 12x24 Porcelain Tile

Vesuvio Bianco 12x24 is manufactured by Delconca USA here in the USA, in Tennessee using state-of-the-art digital printing technology.

As you can see in the image below, the Bianco color is light and warm, with movement in the design, realistically capturing the look of light colored natural marble without any of the maintenance requirements.

Unlike natural stone, it doesn't need to be sealed and it withstands scratching and wear. Vesuvio Bianco has a PEI rating of IV, which means that is has high wear resistance and is suitable for all residential uses and all medium commercial and light industrial uses.

Vesuvio Bianco 12x24 captures the look of colored marble.

Since Vesuvio Bianco has been designed to look like a natural stone, it does not have a uniform appearance. In terms of shade variation, it demonstrates slight variation (V2) with clearly distinguishable differences in texture and/or pattern with similar colors.

That's what makes it such a beautiful option for any room in the home. It offers warmth and visual interest.

Made In The USA: Elite 6x36 Porcelain Tile Planks

Elite 6x36 Wood Tile Planks are from Florim Solutions and similarly represent Italian design with American manufacturing. Elite combines the sophistication and style of hardwood flooring with the durability and versatility of porcelain tile.

This porcelain pressed 6x36 plank has the feel of a handscraped wood plank. It is smooth, without ridges, yet has a wavy feel to the surface. The grain is spotty rather than linear and it has a matte look. Rich in detail and depth of color, Elite bestows a warm and natural look to any environment.

Elite is available in three different colors and can be used in any room – even the bathroom and kitchen.

The room scenes below demonstrate how versatile Elite 6x36 looks in any room setting.
