Wallpaper Looks in Tile for Your Home

The wallpaper look in tiles is trending. These are designs that mimic the look of traditional wallpaper, but done in porcelain and ceramic tiles. These can be used on floors and walls depending on the design and technique in making the tile. Check each item to be sure if suitable for floor application as some designs require a carving or special glaze to give it the full effect which would not be something you want to walk on.
Discovering Wallpaper Look Tile Designs
Let us explore some of the wallpaper tile designs available at Tile Outlets of America.
Golden Fern 24x48
This product is Made in Italy and has a beautiful warm metallic look in the palm design. This tile is suitable for walls only. Golden Fern 24x48 – SKU: 207337
Look how beautiful this design is in a commercial installation.
Below you will see how this is set on the wall in a beauty salon. The nice earth tones with the leather chairs is very tropical but elegant at the same time.
Here is how we paired Golden Fern with a beautiful plank in our Fort Myers Inspiration Area.
Below is the tile used in our Inspiration Area in Fort Myers with the Lena Brown 8x36 – SKU: 113187. The wood plank tile pulls all the colors of the Golden Fern. You would think the two items are meant to be installed together.
Notice the tile to the left of this display. It is the Thuy Marquina 13x36 ledger porcelain tile SKU: 204273; it also compliments the Golden Fern and picks up the darker pieces in the palm leaves.
Palma 24x48
The Palma porcelain 24x48 is Made in Italy. This product is suitable for only walls. This design leans into the green and dark gray tones. You can find suitable subway tiles to compliment it in a design.
Below we see how they used the pieces to make a wall feature of palms. The pieces come together to make a continuous design.
Below you will see how we brightened up an outdoor space in our Tampa Inspiration area using Palma.
We highlighted the grill area with the Palma 24x48 and completed the look with the Village Carbon Glossy 4x16 subway tile. You could easily use other colors in the Village series including the Hijau and Off White Glossy 4x16.
But you can see all the colors would have been a great option.

Jungle 24x48
The Jungle is a porcelain tile that can be used on the floors and walls. This product is Made in Spain and features a tropical design in the green/tan family. The Jungle item has three faces and will align to create the design.
This tile also would compliment nicely with the Village 4x16 subway series mentioned above.
To give you some ideas of how these types of wallpaper looks could be applied in the household. Here is a backsplash with the 24x48 pieces.
If you want to make it a feature wall in your bathroom, it makes a great backdrop for your tub or shower area. Look how attractive the green cabinets are in the bathroom.
What a way to create a nice pop of color to pull the design together.
The Jungle 24x48 is matte in format, but installed with polished wall and floor tiles. To create this look we have Thuile White Polished 24x48 – SKU: 108819
Another create option in a square is the Domus.
Tahiti Lux 3D 24x48
The Tahiti series is Made in Italy and can be used on floors and walls. This is a porcelain tile with a 3D effect in the tile to give the design extra depth.
There are so many different looks that coordinate with this type of wallpaper look. When the pieces are installed the design is continuous.

Tahiti Lux 3D 24x48 – SKU: 113157
You can combine this look with a blue marble design and wood plank tile. Here is an inspiration of this image. Tahiti Lux 3D on the back wall combined with Blue Roma 24x48 and on the floor Versat Natural 12x60 wood plank tile.
Here is the Blue Roma 24x48 –SKU: 113059
And the Versat Natural Porcelain 12x60 – SKU: 108817. Notice how well this plank coordinates with the veins in the marble tile.
Here is another design for the Tahiti Lux 3D 24x48 wallpaper look.
You can create a backsplash in a small bath and create a feature wall. Coordinate the wallpaper tile with a solid white wall tile and a wood plank for the floor.

Solid white tiles are available in multiple sizes – 12x24, 24x24, 24x48 and 48x48. They are available in matte and polished. Come explore those options in the store.

Filetto Camel 18x48 – SKU: 204345 – wall tile featured to the right of the Tahiti Lux 3D. This is a fluted wall tile that can be installed vertically or horizontally. This would be left up to your preference.
Blue Roma 24x48 – SKU: 113059 – this is used on the walls and continues the look to the floor. This product is also available in slab size.
