10-Year Employee

The flooring industry recently lost not just a professional of the highest caliber, but a beloved colleague and friend, according to World Sales Group. Kathryn “Kate” Spencer, a longtime partner and supporter of Tile Outlets of America, passed away this year, leaving behind a legacy defined by dedication, grace and an unwavering commitment to excellence, the company stated.

To honor her memory and lasting impact on the industry, World Sales Group will dedicate their booth at Coverings 2025 to Kate — a gesture the company believes reflects the deep respect and affection she inspired in all who knew her.

"Kate was more than a valued customer; she was part of our extended family," said a representative from World Sales Group stated. "Her passion for design, her meticulous attention to detail and her infectious enthusiasm elevated every project she touched. She brought warmth to every conversation and a sharp insight to every challenge."

According to the company, her presence brightened trade shows, energized collaborations, and left a mark that will never fade.

“Kate embodied the very best of what this industry stands for,” added a representative from World Sales Group. “She cared deeply about people and about getting it right — and she made us better by expecting our best.”

As the company prepares for Coverings 2025, its team will carry Kate’s memory with us, ensuring that the booth not only showcases products, but reflects the values she lived by: integrity, creativity and heart.

World Sales Group extends its heartfelt condolences to Kate’s family, colleagues and friends. "Her legacy will continue to shape the industry — and the people — she loved so much."
