Return Policy

Tile Outlets of America takes very seriously Our Promise to You. For that reason, we offer a Return Policy second-to-none. It's part of our Peace-of-Mind Commitment. It consists of the following.

How do I return an item?

We want you to be happy with your purchase so you have 90 days from the date of purchase to return any item or items other than (i) clearance or sale items clearly marked as “nonreturnable and nonrefundable”, (ii) special order items marked as such on your receipt and (iii) sample purchases which may not be returned.

  • Each returned item must be in its original unopened packaging in new, sellable condition.
  • Items may be returned at any Tile Outlets of America store location provided you have your receipt.
  • If you are unable to make your return to one of our store locations, in order to receive a refund you must first obtain a Return Authorization Number (“RAN”) and shipping instructions by emailing us at
  • You are responsible for all return shipping costs.

Your refund will be by the same method you used to pay for the returned item(s) and will be subject to a satisfactory inspection of the returned item(s) by us upon receipt. Refunds will generally be processed within 7 to 10 business days of receipt and inspection of the returned items. You will be credited the full amount less any shipping charges incurred by us upon original shipment of the item(s) to you. No refunds will be issued for any items returned without a RAN. Items returned due to your refusal to accept shipment will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Canceled Orders

Orders may be canceled without penalty prior to shipment. Once an order has been shipped you will be responsible for all outgoing and return shipping costs. Furthermore, a 10% restocking fee will be charged.

Damaged or Missing Product

Inspect all deliveries before signing the receipt and write on the Proof of Delivery receipt (POD) provided by the delivery company any visible damage to the packaging such as a crushed box or tears. Never refuse a shipment. If an item is received damaged, please contact us immediately for instructions. We will ask you to provide us with a copy of the POD and pictures of any damaged items. Upon our receipt of these items and approval of your claim, we will ship you replacement item(s) at no cost to you or issue you a credit. You will need to hold onto any damaged items and the original packaging in case the shipper requests to inspect the damage.

Please open and inspect your order as soon as possible upon receipt so you can verify that you have received the correct item(s), quantity and color. If your order has been incorrectly filled, please contact us immediately. We will then provide you instructions regarding the return of any incorrectly shipped items and ship you the correct item(s) at no cost to you or issue you a credit. We will not accept any claims of incorrect shipments unless a claim is made within 5 business days of your receipt of shipment.

Our sole liability in the event of damaged items or incorrect shipments will be to ship you replacement items or the correct items or issue you a refund as described above.
