When you visit Tile Outlets of America, be sure to look for the display featuring samples of each of the glass sinks. You'll also find Solera Sinks included in the many display installations so you can imagine the effect in your home and be inspired.
You have many styles of sinks to choose from.
Selecting a Special Order Sink From Tile Outlets

In addition to experiencing Solera Sinks firsthand in-store, you can also make use of the Solera Vision software system to visualize how the sinks you like would look in your home - either on your tablet device or in-store at Tile Outlets of America. You'll be able to upload an image of your own kitchen or bathroom countertop, or select an existing one, pick your sink choice and virtually experience the look. Faucets, handles and other accessories are also available on the software program.

The system is easy to use and gives you the flexibility to try many different choices.

Once you order in the store, the sink will be delivered in 5-7 business days. To take advantage of TIle Outlets' wholesale pricing on Solera Sinks, you'll need to place your order in-store.

Three Styles of Sinks to Choose From

You have a choice of three sink styles for your kitchen or bathroom which will affect how your sink is installed.
Undermount Sink
An undermounted sink is installed below the countertop surface and is popular due to its glamorous appeal and functionality. The edge of the countertop material is exposed around the cut sink opening and the sink is clamped to the material from below. Silicone-based sealants are usually used to ensure a waterproof joint between the sink and the countertop material.

The advantage of an undermount sink is that is gives a sleek, contemporary look with no sink rim showing.

Beware if the hole is not cut properly as this can lead to complications at installation.

Overmounted or topmount sink
Overmounted or Topmount Sink
Topmount or overmount is a commonly used mounting style for many bathrooms. The sink hole is roughly cut and the overmount sink (or tub) is dropped-in to create a lip or edge on the countertop.

Overmounting allows for easy sink replacement in the future as it leaves minimal damage to the countertop.
Vessel Sink
A vessel sink is a free-standing sink, generally finished and decorated on all sides, that sits directly on the surface of the countertop.

These sinks have become increasingly popular with bathroom designers because of the large range of materials, styles and finishes. Special faucets are available for vessel sinks as they sit higher and require a taller spout height.
